3. Microphone, Audio, and Speech Features
TAKKAD does not activate the microphone automatically. Microphone access begins only after the user presses a recording or practice button and approves the browser permission request.
Some speech features may be processed by the browser or device. Other interview features may upload audio, transcripts, or related data to TAKKAD or a service provider when this is necessary to deliver transcription, analysis, or feedback.
Audio may be retained when the feature clearly indicates that a recording is saved. Practice features that operate entirely in the browser may not upload the audio to TAKKAD. Users should avoid speaking unnecessary sensitive information.
4. AI Processing
When a user requests AI evaluation, TAKKAD may send the relevant question, answer, transcript, audio, role, level, or related instructions to an AI service provider. The provider processes that information to return transcription, scoring, coaching, or interview feedback.
Users should not include passwords, government identification numbers, financial account details, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive information in an answer or recording.
5. Cookies and Sessions
TAKKAD may use essential cookies or similar session technologies to keep users signed in, protect forms, maintain account access, remember settings, and support security. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the platform from working.
Any non-essential analytics or advertising cookies should be disclosed and managed in accordance with applicable requirements.
6. When Information May Be Shared
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with:
- Hosting, storage, database, and security providers.
- Payment processors and financial-service providers.

- Professional advisers, auditors, or insurers where necessary.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor organization in a lawful merger, acquisition, or transfer.
TAKKAD does not sell personal information merely because a user creates an account. If business practices change, this Policy should be updated before the new use begins.
7. Data Retention
Account information is generally retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, dispute resolution, accounting, fraud prevention, certificate verification, or legal obligations.
Learning records, transcripts, AI feedback, and uploaded recordings should be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the feature, user history, support, security, or legal needs. TAKKAD may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer required.
8. Security
TAKKAD uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including password hashing, access controls, session management, and security monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for choosing a strong password, protecting their account, and contacting support if they suspect unauthorized access.
9. International Processing
Hosting, payment, email, speech, or AI providers may process information in countries other than the user's country. Where required, TAKKAD should use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for such transfers.
10. User Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law, a user may have the right to request:
- Access to personal information.
- Correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion of eligible information.
- Restriction of or objection to certain processing.
- A portable copy of eligible information.
- Withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent.
Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, security, payment, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons. Requests may be submitted through TAKKAD's Technical Support contact, and identity verification may be required.
11. Children and Younger Users
TAKKAD is not intended to collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law. A user below the age required to consent independently in their location should use the platform only with appropriate parent or guardian permission and supervision.
A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information improperly may contact Technical Support to request review or deletion.
12. Changes to This Policy
TAKKAD may update this Policy when its technology, providers, features, legal obligations, or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when a revised version is published. Material changes may be communicated through the platform where appropriate.
13. Contact and Complaints
Privacy questions, rights requests, or complaints may be submitted through the Technical Support contact displayed on the TAKKAD website.
Users may also have the right to complain to the privacy or data protection authority responsible for their location.
